To the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk,

 

Changing the charter times at such short notice is of course completely unacceptable.

 

The Dutch Chess Federation loses the connecting flight tickets in that case. And I am sure that numerous other participating teams would lose their connecting flight tickets as well.

 

The Dutch Chess Federation demands that the charter times are changed back to the schedule that was well publicized on the FIDE website and communicated by the organisers as the final flight schedule.

 

For our Munich flight this means:

LG 7525 19 Sep Munich 16.25 Khanty-Mansiysk 03.00 (20 Oct)

LG 7528  4 Oct Khanty-Mansiysk 04.35- Munich 05.10 (4 Oct)

 

If you do not change back the flight schedule we demand full financial compensation.

 

We expect your reply confirming the change back to the charter times as above within 24 hours.
